Work in a case
With Mitogen, the work happens in your assistant: Grok, Claude or ChatGPT. You talk to it normally; it searches, writes and sends for you, through your connections. The console is not where you keep your cases: it is for your accounts and for the people who run the workspace.
A case gathers a subject you want to keep and follow: an order, a customer, an ongoing deal. It holds the messages, files and exchanges that belong to it. You can come back to it, and invite a colleague.
Which workspace you are in
The assistant works in one workspace at a time: the same one your connections are in. If you have several workspaces (your company and your personal one, for example), just tell the assistant which one to use. There is no need to start a new conversation for that.
Look something up without opening a case
For a one-off question, just ask: "Find the latest email from Dupont Ltd", "What's the status of order S00042 in Odoo?", "Where is the signed quote from March?". The assistant answers from your connections.
A simple lookup does not create a case. A case only opens when you ask to keep the subject, attach something to it, or work on it.
Open a case
Just say so. For example:
Open a case for Dupont Ltd's order S00042. Attach Mr Dupont's latest email and the PDF quote that's in SharePoint.
The assistant opens the case and tells you its title. The first item attached becomes the case's subject; if you'd rather have a different subject, tell it.
Then, still in the same conversation:
- Build up the case. Ask it to add a note, a document, a message or an Odoo record.
- Put the assistant to work. Ask it to read an item, draft a reply, follow up with the customer or send a message.
- Close it when you're done. Say the case is finished, or that you are dropping it. The assistant won't suggest this on its own.
There is no form to fill in. If the assistant needs a connection you don't have yet, it tells you: add it in Your connections, then come back to the conversation.
To put the email or record in front of you into a case, from your browser or Outlook, use Capture.
Invite a colleague
Tell the assistant who should join the case, and whether they can change it or only read it. For example: "Invite Claire to this case, read-only." The person must already be part of your workspace.
The assistant sends them a message that takes them to the case. If they already use an assistant with Mitogen, that message can also open their assistant directly.
If the message fails to go out, the person is still added to the case, and the assistant tells you so. You don't need to resend the message yourself.
What stays when you remove an account
If you remove an account in Connections, whatever is already in your cases stays there: the cases don't change. The assistant simply can no longer act through that account.
