The seat
Every person in your workspace needs a seat for their connections to work. A seat is that person's place in the workspace: one seat per person, and it lets them link up to 16 connections at the same time. Without a seat, connections don't stay active, and the console says so: a seat is required.
The owner and admins assign seats, from Team; the steps are in Run the workspace. This page explains what a seat includes, what it costs, and how connections are counted.
The offer
There is a single offer, the same for everyone: €40.00 excl. VAT per person per month, with at most 16 connections per person.
Mitogen is free until the end of 2026. The price of €40.00 excl. VAT per person per month applies from January 2027.
The limit of 16 applies to the person, across all tools. Two accounts on the same tool count as two. An Odoo account and a mailbox also count as two. Only the total matters: for example, Mr Dupont can link his Outlook mailbox, his Odoo account, the company's Microsoft files and his Google Drive. That makes four connections out of sixteen, and he still has room to add more.
What counts as a connection
A connection counts as soon as it is in service, including when the screen shows Reconnect.
It stops counting in two cases:
- You revoke it. Clicking Revoke removes the account from the binding, and the place frees up.
- The seat is removed. The row then shows Disabled and no longer counts. With a new seat, and as long as there is room, the person clicks Re-enable, one connection at a time.
These buttons are covered in Your connections.
Add seats
- Open Billing: https://mitogen.ai/console/billing ↗.
- Click Add seats.
- Enter the number of seats you need: one per person.
Then assign the seats in Team (https://mitogen.ai/console/team ↗), on each person's row: Assign seat, or Change seat.
An invite can also hold a free seat for the person you invite. If none is left, the page tells you: add some first, then send the invite.
The counter
In Connections, next to the title, everyone sees how many connections they are using, out of the 16 their seat allows.
When the limit is reached, a new account is refused. You then need to remove one you no longer use before linking another.
