# Tools

Your assistant works in your company's tools: your ERP, your email, your files, your meetings. Each guide walks you through screen by screen.

## How it works, in two steps {#how}

1. **An admin opens the tool for the team**, once, in **Modules**: `https://mitogen.ai/console/modules`, with the **Open** button on the tool's card. They then choose who has access.
2. **Each person connects their own account**, in **Connections**: `https://mitogen.ai/console/connections`. The assistant then acts with that person's rights, never more.

At the last step, **Access**, the admin checks the people and sets for each one what the assistant may do: Read, Create, Modify, Delete, Send. Read is always included and locked; the other four are turned on person by person. The Access screen is the same for all tools, and rights can be changed at any time afterwards in **Team › Connection rights**.

## Choose your tool {#choose}

| Tool | What the assistant does | What you need to open it | Guide |
|---|---|---|---|
| **Odoo** | Finds a customer, reads a quote, creates a ticket, sets a reminder. | Odoo 17 or later. On Odoo Online, the Custom plan. An Odoo administrator account, once. | [Open Odoo](/en/tools/odoo) |
| **Outlook** | Reads your emails, prepares replies, looks at your calendar and contacts. | Microsoft 365. The first time, a Microsoft administrator's agreement. | [Open Outlook](/en/tools/outlook) |
| **Teams** | Reads a meeting's transcript from its link. | Microsoft 365, transcription turned on. The same Microsoft agreement as Outlook. | [Open Teams](/en/tools/teams) |
| **Microsoft files** | Finds and reads your OneDrive and SharePoint documents, uploads files there. | Microsoft 365. The same Microsoft agreement as Outlook. | [Open Microsoft files](/en/tools/microsoft-files) |
| **Google files** | Finds and reads your Google Drive documents, uploads files there. | A Google account that sees the useful drives. | [Open Google files](/en/tools/google-files) |
| **Gmail** | Reads your emails, prepares replies, looks at your Google Calendar and Contacts. | Admin side: open the tool, name it, give access. Each person then connects their Google account. | [Open Gmail](/en/tools/gmail) |
| **Telegram** | Reads your chats, groups and channels. Can send a message in your name. | Admin side: open the tool, name it, give access. Each person then connects their account with their number. | [Open Telegram](/en/tools/telegram) |

## Microsoft: one agreement for three tools {#microsoft}

Outlook, Teams and Microsoft files use the same authorization. An administrator of your Microsoft organization gives it once. After that, opening another Microsoft tool asks nothing more on that side.

## Words to know {#vocabulary}

- **Binding**: your workspace's access to one specific tool. For example “Odoo production” or “Outlook Support”. An admin creates it. A tool can have several bindings.
- **Access**: a person being allowed to use a binding. Without access, the binding does not appear in their connections.
- **Connection**: your own account, linked to a binding. It counts toward your seat's limit.
- **Rights**: what the assistant may do for you with this connection. They are set per person and per binding.

## Stuck? {#stuck}

Each guide has an **If something blocks** part with the messages shown on screen and what to do. In a tool's window, the **Help ↗** link opens the right part directly.

To invite your colleagues or manage seats, see [Manage the workspace](/en/admin).
