# Your connections

For the assistant to read your email, look up an order in Odoo or file a document, it has to go through your own accounts. That is what you set up here: you link your own account to each tool your workspace has opened. Each linked account is called a connection.

Opening a tool for the whole team is a separate step, reserved for the owner and admins. It is described in [Tools](/en/tools). Your Mitogen password, Microsoft sign-in, security code and account deletion are in [My account](/en/account).

## Where to go

In the console, open **Connections**: [https://mitogen.ai/console/connections](https://mitogen.ai/console/connections).

Every tool opened for you appears there, with one or more bindings under its name. An admin chose each binding's name so people can recognize it. That matters when the same tool is opened twice, say two Odoo databases or two Microsoft organizations.

If you have a seat, a counter next to the title shows how many connections you are using, out of how many your seat allows. [The seat](/en/seats) explains it all.

## If the page is empty

The page then tells you that no connection is available to you. That is not a problem on your side: an admin first has to give you access to the tool. You cannot do that yourself from this page, so let the owner or an admin of your workspace know.

## Link your account

1. Find the binding you need, under the tool name.
2. Click **Connect**. If an account is already linked and you want to add another, click **Add an account**.
3. Follow the screen. What it asks depends on the tool (see below). Always use your own credentials: they are not shared with your colleagues.
4. You come back to **Connections**. Your account appears under the binding name.

Your seat counter goes up by one.

### What each tool asks for

- **Outlook, Teams and Microsoft files (SharePoint, OneDrive)**: a Microsoft page opens. Sign in with your work account and accept. You are then brought back to the console.
- **Gmail and Google Drive**: the same, with a Google page.
- **Telegram**: the console asks for your phone number, then the code Telegram sends you, and your Telegram password if you have set one.
- **Odoo**: the console asks for the database, your Odoo login and your Odoo API key. If your admin set up a team account for this binding, you connect without typing a key again.

You enter these details in the console, never in the conversation with the assistant.

## When a connection needs redoing

Sometimes a tool no longer recognizes your session. The row then shows the **Reconnect** badge.

1. Click **Reconnect**.
2. Go through the same step as the first time.

Nothing is lost in the meantime: your cases stay as they are. A connection waiting to be reconnected still counts toward your seat, and reconnecting it does not need an extra place.

## Remove an account

If you no longer use an account, click **Revoke** on its row, then confirm.

The assistant can no longer act through that account on this binding. Whatever you already put into a case stays there, though. The place on your seat becomes free.

## If a row says "Disabled"

**Disabled** means your seat no longer covers this connection. Most often, your seat was removed. A disabled connection no longer counts toward your limit.

Once you have a seat again, and there is room, click **Re-enable**. Connections come back one at a time.

## If you have reached the limit

The page tells you, and a new account is refused. A seat allows at most 16 connections: to link a new one, first remove an account you no longer use. If in doubt, ask the owner or an admin of your workspace.

## What next?

- Your accounts are linked: get to work in [Work in a case](/en/work).
- To put the email or record in front of you into a case in one click, install Capture: [Capture and open](/en/capture).
- To understand the connection limit, see [The seat](/en/seats).
